SilkMelody (Silksong Bootleg)
Silksong took too long so I DIY.
Status: It is kind of dropped/cancelled now, since I took a too long break and forgot how my code work.
I took a lot of liberty in it, only copying the mechanics. The design and story are completely different from the official demo.
Hope you enjoy playing it.
Current version: v0.1.5. Has 1 boss, 2 secret health upgrades, 3 tools and some enemies. Has Inventory, Journal, Map, and Save System.
There are some 3rd-party materials I used. Credits at the bottom of Github README.
Support keyboard, Xbox and PS4. There are tutorials in the game.

I have a silk song deficiency. Weird visual artefact with textures where along the seams there is lines of random colours, To fix this I think set something in the tile set texture to clamp??

Took me like half an hour to finish and it was really fun! I hope you work on this a bit more, or turn it into your own original project! It's genuinely a good time!
hello I tested your demo and I loved it, I would like to know if you intend to continue and if yes I support you. I love the feel of the gameplay:)
I'm happy that you like it. I planned to add 1 or 2 more areas and then call it finished since the real Silksong is gonna come out soon (hopefully). Thanks for playing.
I hope it would be possible if you add a mini-zone with one or two houses with one or two PNJ who would be a merchant, and yes hate real silksong but waiting for your demo is successful:)
